Job Vacancy for Manager of Communications & Enrollment at Perrotis College

The Perrotis College is looking for a talented and motivated individual to join its team.

Job mission:

Reporting to the Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Manager of Communications & Enrollment ensures the development and implementation of high quality and effective communication and recruitment plans, carries out successful communication campaigns, oversees all recruitment activities and enrollment processes and contributes to the Perrotis College’s team’s effort to surpass the College’s enrollment goals. Among other duties, the Manager manages in cooperation with the Head of Institutional Advancement of the American Farm School the verbal and visual profile of the College to ensure its competitive position.

Duties:

Provides direction for results-oriented enrollment consistent within the goals and mission of the College and Junior College;
Prepares and assists in implementing short and long term plans and strategies in each of the 3 areas of accountability (communication, marketing, and enrollment);
Responsible for the organization of communication campaigns – print, digital and google ads among other - designed to enhance the College’s brand;
Oversees the development of College’s newsletters and content for social media, digital publications and promotional-use photography;
Coordinates student recruiting activities in Greece and abroad; and
Oversees communications to the Administration / Finance team, including preparation of budgets, financial reports, and comprehensive campaign progress reporting

Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s Degree
A relevant Masters or Diploma will be preferred
Experience in planning and implementing marketing campaigns
Experience in creating and managing website content management systems and the ability to train and supervise colleagues in updating web content
Excellent English and Greek language writing and editing
Leadership, self-direction and problem- solving ability
Good time management skills, including the ability to set and schedule priorities and meet deadlines while maintaining good relations with colleagues
Goals/results-oriented approach to work
Exhibits commitment to the College’s mission and goals

Hiring opportunities for Perrotis College faculty (Ongoing Recruitment)

Perrotis College of Agriculture, Environment and Life Sciences, the higher education branch of the American Farm School (AFS), a not-for-profit US institution with its campus at AFS in Thessaloniki, Greece, is seeking applications for hiring part-time faculty for in-person classroom/online teaching.

Perrotis College offers B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in the fields of Sustainable Agriculture and Management, Business Studies, Food Science & Technology and Environmental Science. The approach of the College is strongly interdisciplinary, while its pedagogical methodology is both research oriented and practical, giving students the opportunity to engage in learning-by-doing projects.

The College seeks qualified applicants in the above fields. A detailed list of courses offered can be found on the College’s web site. It is possible for a number of applicants to be chosen based on Perrotis College needs and according to its hiring and selection process.The selected persons will serve as part time lecturers. Interested applicants are encouraged to apply throughout the year and the applications will be maintained on the College’s registry for twelve months.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Post graduate studies in the field of expertise
Proficiency level of spoken and written English
Studies or work experience in the USA

Ability to design and lead research projects connected to their subject area
Industrial work experience
Strong motivation and willingness to contribute to the College’s needs
