Even though it’s been only four years since her graduation from Perrotis College, Oli is already working at Kraft Heinz, one of the top FMCG companies in the world, after completing her M.Sc. in Wageningen University. Coming from North Macedonia, Oli has followed the successful example of so many other Perrotis College students pursuing careers in well-known companies worldwide.
«If it wasn’t for Perrotis College, I wouldn’t have been accepted to Wageningen and of course I wouldn’t be able to work as a Scientific and Regulatory Affairs Export Officer at Kraft Heinz», she says proudly, recognizing the importance of her studies at the American Farm School’s tertiary division. Oli graduated from Perrotis College in 2017 holding a B.Sc. Food Science & Technology and continued her studies in «Food Law and Regulatory Affairs» in the Netherlands.
“Perrotis College was one of the best experiences of my life, it was a time where everything was fun and simple, yet a place where you got to grow as a person. It is the place where I found out exactly what I want to do in my life. It’s where I decided what my career would look like and exactly what I needed to do to get it. I am thankful to all the staff and students that were there to help me realize it and end up at my dream job”, she says. Oli credits Perrotis College with her success as it provided a lot of background information spanning over different fields in the Food Sector. “Everything is possible; you are getting the knowledge you need to prepare for a master’s degree or a job. Just enjoy the time that you have there and always reach out to the professors for any future studies/work advice, they are always happy to help and guide you”, is her advice to current Perrotis College students.
“A lot of schools offer similar courses. However the practical and real world experience that you will acquire at Perrotis College is not something that you can get anywhere. Furthermore, the fact that Perrotis collaborates with Wageningen University, speaks volumes”, she concludes.
