Beneficiaries from the ‘New Agriculture for a New Generation’ program had the chance to get familiarised with the use of infrared thermography in cattle and sheep health. Vets, students and farmers were trained from experts from Finland.

Thermal imaging camera can be used to detect various common health issues of animals. Thermal imaging can reveal infection in its early stages even before more visible symptoms are developed. Early detection makes early treatment possible, which means healthier animals and less money spent.
