As part of the ‘Thought For Food’ program a visit to the family business of Theodoros Papatheodorou and Agelina Kyriakopoulou, in Gefira Thessaloniki took place on May. The business is active in the livestock sector, and operates on the standards of modern units. The farm is a member of the Agricultural Cooperative of Sheep Breeders of Chios Breed and Panhellenic Sheep Reproduction Body of Chios Breed. During the visit, a tour was held while issues related to milk yield and quality, genetic improvement as well as animal hygiene conditions were discussed.
