Τhe new M.Sc. in Sustainable Agriculture & Management has been designed to fill a significant gap in the existing post-graduate education. This is the area of “holistic and sustainable methods in crop production to meet the high demands of the climate change adaptation & mitigation, cyclic bio economy, new emerging technologies in Precision Agrciulture and digitalization of agriculture in EU and the World”.
The program focuses on “Managing Innovative Agricultural Production Systems - Holistic Approaches from Farm to Consumers” and fits the philosophy of the American Farm School. The state-of-the-art College facilities - built with the support of generous donors and USAID funds - are the strong pillars of research and quality education offered.

The current and future collaborations with academic institutions in Greece and abroad, as well as with businesses in the agrofood sector, will form strong partnerships to investigate and provide specific problem & targeted solutions through education and focused research at graduate level. The new program is also expected to further enhance collaboration and integration with the existing two M.Sc. programs in the areas of food quality and marketing.
