In early September, Perrotis College participated in the 2nd Mediterranean Summer School for Sustainable Development and Bioeconomics, which was held exclusively online this year due to the pandemic.
Co-organized by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (Postgraduate Program in Bioeconomics) and Perrotis College, the summer school is aimed at raising awareness about the fields of bioeconomics, the circular economy, and sustainable development in academia, as well as the formation of a network to promote bioeconomy and circular economy. Academics, young researchers and students (both undergraduate and graduate) had the opportunity to present their interests, activities in their countries and institutes, as well as the results of their research on bioeconomy, circular economy and the support of sustainability in general.
