Dr. Kiki Zinoviadou, Associate Professor at the Perrotis College Department of Food Science and Technology and head of the graduate program New Food Product & Business Development, joined the Academic and Industry Experts Advisory Board of the National Research Infrastructure FoodOmicsGR.
The aim of the Board is the comprehensive characterisation of various products in order to highlight the quality of Greek food. As Greece produces unique agri-food/fishery products, their characterisation as high value products with the use of advanced technology can further highlight their quality. It should be noted that eight academic and research institutions participate in this project: Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Agricultural University of Athens, University of Ioannina, University of Crete, University of the Aegean, International University of Greece and The Biomedical Research Foundation (BRFAA) of the Academy of Athens.
